FAQ’s

  • Will my home need modifications?
  • We will help you to decide that. Modifications can be as simple as switching tap handles so that you can easily turn them on or off, and many clients find that a few simple changes can make a big difference to their everyday life. An experienced assessor will look at your home and make recommendations based on your own experience of carrying out daily activities in your home.
  • What modifications can be made?
  • Modifications typically involve bathrooms and kitchens, so that everyday tasks can be carried out. Benches and workspaces can be lowered, taps and handles changed, rails, ramps and shower hoses installed, and doorways widened to accommodate chairs or frames. Throughout the home, doorways and hallways can be widened, switches lowered or changed, and sometimes a functional room such as a bathroom can be installed on a ground floor.
